Bahá'u'lláh
A brief introduction to Bahá’u’lláh’s life and work, prepared at the request of the Universal House of Justice by the Bahá’í International Community Office of Public Information and published in 1992.
Description
29 May 1992 marks the centenary of Bahá'u'lláh's passing. His vision of humanity as one people and of the earth as a common homeland, rejected a priori by the world leaders to whom it was first enunciated over a hundred years ago, has today become the focus of human hope. Equally inevitable is the collapse of the social and moral order that this same declaration foresaw with impressive clarity.
The occasion encouraged the publication of this brief introduction to the life and work of Bahá'u'lláh. Prepared at the request of the Universal House of Justice, custodian of the worldwide endeavour that the events of a century ago set in motion, it offers us an insight into the sense of confidence with which Bahá'ís around the world view the future of our planet and our race.
